GRADUATION APPLICATION DEADLINE
The last day for students to apply for graduation is Monday, January 11, 2010 by 5pm MT. Due to printing timetables, students who miss the deadline will not have their names included in the commencement program.
2010 STUDENT COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER COMPETITION
The WGU Commencement Committee seeks four outstanding graduates to speak at the 2010 WGU Winter Commencement ceremony on February 20, 2010. WGU graduates who wish to be considered for a student commencement speaker role need to fill out an application, prepare a draft speech outline and obtain a letter of recommendation.
The deadline for submitting a completed application (application form, draft outline of speech and letter of recommendation) is Monday, December 28, 2009.
Commencement RSVP
Graduates who RSVP to attend the commencement after Monday, January 11, 2010 will not have their name included in the program due to printing deadlines. **No tickets are required for commencement.
Students and family who cannot attend the 2010 Winter Commencement Cermony can watch a live video of the ceremony via video stream on the Internet. The link will be available a few days prior to the event.

Graduates will be directed to the designated area to line up for the processional by degree program. Please be dressed and in line and ready to march. Family and guests should be seated in the auditorium by 9:30 AM for the ceremony.
WGU Faculty and staff will be located throughout the facility to assist you. |

CAPS AND GOWNS - ONLINE ORDER DEADLINE: January 2, 2010
IMPORTANT: The WGU student regalia is NAVY. Please order regalia through Jostens.
Graduating students wear the traditional academic regalia to commencement exercises. Regalia consists of cap and gown for undergraduate degrees, and cap, gown, and hood for advanced degrees. Please wear your regalia to the graduation venue the day of graduation. Make sure you remove any wrinkles in your gown. You can do this by steaming or spot cleaning. DO NOT dry clean or wash your gown.
You may begin ordering your regalia now.
After Saturday January 2, 2010, you may only place phone orders. Please note that orders received after January 2 will be charged a $10 late fee.

Graduation attendees will be recognized individually at commencement.
