Security Central

    Information Security and Assurance Center

Welcome to the Western Governors University Information Security and Assurance Center. The ISA Center was officially declared WGU's Center for Information Security and Assurance studies in June of 2009. The WGU ISA Center provides alumni, current students, and faculty a resource for curriculum development, workshops, outreach, student presentations, access to IA resources, job opportunities and a place to collaborate with others interested in information security and assurance.

The goals of the WGU ISA Center are to:

    1. Provide ALL WGU alumni and current students with educational opportunities focused on information security and assurance.
    2. Provide a resource for information sharing revolving around information security and assurance.
    3. Provide a collaborative environment for alumni, students and faculty to engage in discourse about information security and assurance.
    4. Provide opportunities for enriching information security and assurance education across colleges within the university.

The ISA Center is hosted by the WGU Alumni Center and sponsored by the College of Information Technology. We welcome you to participate in the activities in WGU's ISA Center.

    Sincerely, Gwendolyn S. Britton, Eds
