The 2013 Summer Commencement Ceremony is for graduates in all other states (the national student body).

Graduation Application
Graduating students who have completed all their degree program requirements need to apply for graduation. Please speak to your mentor about the graduation application process.

Complete the Ceremony RSVP form to indicate your participation in the commencement ceremony and to generate your name card for the stage announcer.

Commencement Schedule for Graduates

Graduate Academic Attire
All graduates participating in the commencement ceremony must arrive wearing full academic attire: cap, gown, tassel and hood if master's grad. No changing rooms on site.

Graduate Registration
Please report to the graduate registration area where you will pick up your name card containing your name and degree. Hold on to this card. As each graduate walks on stage, s/he will hand his card to the reader, who will announce the graduate's name.
Note:Your ceremony RSVP is required to participate, and the RSVP generates your name card for the ceremony.

Cap and Gown
Western Governors University regalia is available through Jostens. The official regalia color is NAVY. Graduating students wear the traditional academic regalia to the commencement ceremony.
Academic Regalia
Bachelor's degree: Cap, gown, and tassel.
Master's degree: Cap, gown, tassel, and a master's hood.
Ordering instructions
To order regalia, please know your height, weight, cap size, and degree information
Option #1
Visit the Western Governors University - Jostens Order page to place an online order.
Online Order Deadline: Friday, June 7th (web site and phone orders) with standard delivery charge ($11.95). If you order by June 7th, your cap and gown will be delivered on or before June 28th.
Option #2
Call Jostens Customer Call Center at 1-800-854-7464 x 15014 to place your order.
IMPORTANT: When ordering via telephone, please specifiy that you are ordering your cap and gown for Western Governors University.
Order cut off date: Wednesday, June 26th (phone orders only). Expedited shipping will apply. Your cap and gown delivery date will be determined when the order is placed with the Jostens customer call agent.

Hotels - 2013 Summer Commencement
The Crystal Inn is conveniently located in downtown Salt Lake City just 15 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport.
Rate: $74.00 for a single or double plus the current sales and occupancy tax of 12.6%. A $10.00 per person charge will be added for Triple and Quad Adult Occupancy.
Note: Rate includes free airport shuttle, hot breakfast buffet daily, parking, local calls, high speed wireless internet access, fridge, microwave and coffee maker and more. Children stay free under the age of 12.

This rate is good until June 11, 2013.
